Installing the UMS Digital Certificate For using secure UMS services, you must follow the instructions below to install a UMS digital certificate: Click here to download the certificate. Select OPEN to start installation of the certificate. Click on the INSTALL CERTIFICATE... button. Click NEXT in the Welcome to the Certificate Import Wizard-window. Click NEXT to choose Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate. Click FINISH to accept installation settings. Click YES to install the UMS digital certificate as a trusted root certificate. Click OK to acknowledge the Import was successful message. Click OK to finally close the Certificate window. You're now ready to securely log on to UMS XML Services. After installing the UMS root certificate and securely logging on to UMS XML Services, you'll notice a small padlock icon on the lower right of your Internet Explorer status bar. This signifies that you're currently connected on a web-site using a secure and encrypted channel. If you double-click on the icon, you'll get a description of the certificate being used.
